Start of Partnership – Fitosal

We are delighted to announce the start of a new partnership: the e-Sustavi team is beginning an Odoo implementation with FITOSAL d.o.o., the exclusive distributor of Soria Natural herbal preparations and food supplements on the Croatian market. The goal of the project is clear: to digitalize the operations of a company built on the principles of modern phytotherapy, along with all the specific requirements that come with distributing sensitive food products.

FITOSAL: phytotherapy on the Croatian market

FITOSAL d.o.o. is a company that distributes Soria Natural in Croatia, a well-established line of herbal preparations and food supplements developed on the principles of modern phytotherapy. These are products whose quality depends on precision, from monitoring incoming raw materials, through storage under proper conditions, to the traceability of every individual batch that reaches the end customer. With a team of ten employees, FITOSAL operates on the Croatian market and serves customers who expect the highest level of reliability in product, delivery, and information from a natural food supplement distributor. It is precisely this level of reliability that the new ERP system has to support.


A decision that began with training

The way FITOSAL found the e-Sustavi team says something important about e-Sustavi's position on the market: the partnership grew out of a Skill-up training session. From an educational setting where knowledge about Odoo's capabilities is shared, the client recognized the right partner for a concrete implementation project. After three months of evaluation and decision-making, a reasonable timeframe for a company taking a serious approach to investing in a new business system, FITOSAL chose e-Sustavi as its implementation partner. The Skill-up training thus grew into a concrete digital transformation project.​


What Odoo will solve for FITOSAL

In the industry of distributing herbal preparations and food supplements, speed and precision aren't separate values, they have to go together. FITOSAL has clearly defined the goal of the implementation: to speed up business processes and ensure faster delivery to customers, without compromising on precision. On top of that, the nature of the products FITOSAL distributes brings its own specific requirements, which the Odoo implementation will directly address:

    Lot tracking is especially important in this industry: every item has to be traceable from the moment it enters the warehouse to the moment it leaves for the customer, with clear records of expiry dates and storage conditions. Odoo covers this functionality out of the box, which is why no specific development customizations will be needed at this stage of the project.

    Project scope and phased approach

    The implementation starting with FITOSAL is built around a "start with the basics, build from there" principle. The first phase implements the modules that cover the core of the distributor's day-to-day operations: Sales, Purchase, POS, Inventory, and Accounting. These five modules for five users across FITOSAL's key departments form the foundation that will be built on going forward. The planned go-live is mid-September, meaning FITOSAL will enter the new business season with a new, centralized system. After production launch, an expansion to additional modules is planned, which the client will introduce gradually as business processes settle into the new system.​

    Looking ahead

    The FITOSAL project isn't just about implementing a system, it's the start of a long-term partnership. After the go-live of the first phase, the e-Sustavi team will continue supporting the existing modules and gradually introduce additional ones as the client's business develops. This is a model suited to companies in a growth phase: built step by step, based on real needs, without unnecessary complexity from day one.
